Up!
Sunday, 8 June 2008
the first one was the 12th General Election.
Evening, 4th June 2008,
Our dearest Prime Minister announced another one.
I have read so much posts on 'Rising Petrol', etc..
You have also heard lots of complaints from me about the
MALAYSIA PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM. (PTS)
Okay,
lets put all the reasons and arguments that
Malaysia is the exporter for petrol..
Petronas 80 billion profit... etc
by PAKATAN RAKYAT or any other MALAYSIAN aside.
In Singapore, the petrol price is higher than Malaysia.
Well, I simply think that the rich ones in Singapore can afford it.
For the middle class Singaporeans, they can just get on any public transports to any places.
It's accessible, efficient, and cheap.
Meaning that no matter how high the petrol price,
ordinary people can still use the public transport to access any places.
It is impossible in Malaysia.
Just see the system in Kuala Lumpur.
Regardless the Petronas 80 billion profit, etc..
A country with high petrol price
but with a Good, Efficient PTS, the rakyat can still be encourage to use the PTS.
The rich shall continue to pay for the high petrol price.
The reason is simple in Singapore,
if you can't afford a car, then don't buy it.
If you can afford a car, then shut up and bare with the high petrol price.
If you can't afford it, then use the PTS.
Thus,
It's OK and nothing wrong for a Government that provide good alternatives ways for the people to travel to rise the petrol price due to the rising of world petrol price.
Take note that they IMPORT PETROL, WE EXPORT.
We, Malaysian are encourage to have car, thanks to Proton and Perodua.
We are discourage to use the PTS, a full respect and appreciation
given to the Rapid KL's drivers and of course, the Government of Malaysia.
Pak Lah! Government's decision is killing the people.
~ THE EXPORTER, HIGHEST TWIN TOWERS ON EARTH (PETRONAS) ~
With the
LOUSY PUBLIC TRANSPORTS SYSTEM,
people have NO ALTERNATIVES at all.
Now we take into account all the relevant considerations that
i) Where's the Petronas 80 billion profit go?
ii) As the world's market for petrol is rising, Malaysia as an exporter, should be gaining profit out of it but why should rakyat is paying higher and higher for petrol?
I'm trying to give our government a chance.
But you see..
If we disregard all the arguments by Pakatan Rakyat and most of the Malaysians,
our government SHOULDN'T be given a chance anymore.
THEY FAILED TO PROVIDE A
PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM THAT'S ACCESSIBLE, EFFICIENT AND CHEAP !
THEY HAVE ALSO FAILED TO PROVIDE ALTERNATIVES WAYS FOR THE PEOPLE TO TRAVEL WITHOUT A CAR.
Now taking into account all the relevant considerations,
As the exporter for petrol, we're not making profit out of it,
rising petrol prices, reason given was due to the world's market.
A simple illustration will be comparing the price of durian in Japan and Malaysia.
OUR GOVERNMENT HAVE FAILED..
WE MALAYSIANS, DO NOT WANT ANY SURPRISES AGAIN!

seriously, with no alternatives, people from the lower and middle income families will hv to struggle rigorously to survive in this country. because we don't hv a salary rate that is comparable to that in singapore despite all the others that we r still lack of.
and the most important thing that we're lack of is efficient leaders. every movement a leader makes will affect the people under him. it is important to make consider the consequences before making big decisions.
